(mine loads SSLLLLLOOOOOOWWWW too, but I'm told it's because I have so MUCH stuff in there, lol)
Poser tech problems - help!
I have Poser 6.
First issue is that it is taking FOREVER to load... little over 6 minutes to be exact. Gets annoying. But not as annoying as the second problem. Unable to open saved pz3 files so I can finish working on saved projects. :censored The file will open but there's nothing there. This is what I get. No window with the picture... its just......blank!
If I go to file and start a new project while I have the blank one open asking me if I wanna save changes to that file.
Anyone have any clue why in the hell Poser is doing this? I thought about upgrading to Poser 7 but I cant afford to upgrade anytime soon since hubby is getting kicked out of the Marine Corps due to medical reasons and any extra $ has to be saved for moving. :(

Thanks! and yeah I figure the loading slow has something to do with how much crap I have in my runtime or how I organized my runtime so I could find stuff I had.

I was thinking that might be it. Might be time to clean out your runtime of all the stuff you don't use anymore.

Ok I think I may have found out why Poser wont load saved pz3 files..this person looks to have the same problem (except I dont have Vista).

I run poser on vista 64 bit now and it runs better than when I ran windowsXP. Cripes, what does that tell ya.

I never ran Vista and I had a problem exactly like it before Vista came out. And DANGIT I can't find where I got the solution :censored I thought it was here but can't find anything... Hmmm, maybe it was RMP or CP, I'll go check!

go to prefs and uncheck use external binary morphs. It'll stop creating the .pmd files.
