Get a website - starting at $200

Tempted...

I do someday want my own site so people can commission me but I don't think I'm quite good enough for that yet. The website I have is screwed up cos I broke it :?

I'll think about it and see how much money I can scrape together :)

Considering that she doesn't charge as much as some of the other hacks out there, and you get exceptional design and functionality, if you can I'd definitely recommend her.

Ooh! ooh! ooh!! :bounce I've been thinking about redoing my website (for like the 4th fricking time lol) but I have absolutely no idea what I want. Heck I even have Dreamweaver 8 and Flash 8 but I be damned if I can figure out how to use Flash 8. LOL Would be nice to pay someone else to make the site for me so I don't have to hurt myself using DW or Flash!

I have this template (both flash and non flash version) which I bought a couple years ago. Used it for a while but then got bored with it. LOL

Is it possible for you to redesign a site using the same graphics (specifically the lady - shes so hawt!)? I love that template but I can never figure out a good look for a gallery. :rolleyes

Im guessing it'd be more of a recoding. Its hard to explain how I want it changed. Its like that template is made for 800x600 resolution which makes it pretty fricking small and leaves blank black areas when viewed in any resolution larger. I need it so it would take up more room and look better on larger resolutions, and so there's more room to put a gallery. When I tried redoing it to make it larger, it didn't work.. all it did was stretch out the graphics and it looked so jacked up. LOL I even tried resizing the images in photoshop.. still came out funky.

Or if you could come up with a totally new design using the lady, that would be pretty awesome too! But hubby says it would make more sense to use one of my own graphics instead of that lady since my site is about my 3D work and my commissions.

See.. this is why I have such a hard time with my site. I can never make up my damn mind. *sigh*

Oh I know her stuff is teh awesome, was thinking of asking her before but thought she'd be too busy and was scared of what the prices might be lol. But gimme a week or so when car payment gone, then rest of the money is mine and I'll see what I have, I should be able to scrape together $200

I actually agree with your hubby Nia ;) If the site is about -your- art, I think the main showcase should be something of yours. Vex is awesome about building something around your own pics.

I won't have any better luck making the layout bigger than you did. its raster graphics and not upscalable in any manner without degrading quality.
