Are you kidding?! Six episodes to go /cries
Last night was fantastic, except Zarek and Gaeta got off way too easy. The first ten minutes stunned me though. And after what Tyrol saw...I'd say they better find someplace to settle soon!

So Galatica is starting to tear apart. I gotta admit, for the last 'season', the writing is fucking exceptional. It was a short little coup, but so much shit happened! I can't believe they killed the entire quorum. Seeing Gaeta and Zarek at the firing squad was a surprise, even though really...what else would happen? High treason, lots and lots of murder...still, I felt bad for Gaeta in the end.

When you get to see Gaeta talking about the man he could have potentially been - that people wouldn't know him for the man he could have been, not what he had become, your heart breaks. I still think it's hilarious they got the old Apollo to be such a bad guy when he was the quenticential good guy in the original series.

Is Starbuck's man dead? Will Starbuck and Lee hook back up? What is Starbuck? I'm tempted to agree with a lot of people who think that time travel has everything to do with Kara seeing her dead body. I didn't get as into the first couple seasons, but this last season is kicking MUCH ass.

My heart didn't, not after he turned into such a bastard. In fact I thought the firing squad was too good for him, AND Zarek.



I'd be surprised if Sam survived, but when the writers are writing as they go along, its nearly impossible to predict anything from this point on.

And Lee and Kara BELONG together...if they don't hook back up that really may ruin it all for me. Unless they write it in such a way to make me believe they're going to be happy otherwise.

All I know is I won't be missing any of the last few episode...you're right...much kick ass!

Dee killing herself was a huge shock, though. Hell, her and Lee hooking up was odd. All the weird New Caprica relationships were bizarre.

Dee was a shock, until I thought about it more, and then it made sense.
She was a soldier, and had spent so much of her life looking for earth. When they saw earth in its present shape, and realized there really wasn't anything left for her, there was no point in going on with her life. Hooking up with Lee had been too weird, and I think she understood that, and they had no future...it all just led her to believe it would be better off to go out now, than prolonging the inevitable.

I went over and looked at sci fi's forum for the show...holy cow. There are 160k, read one hundred and sixty THOUSAND, posts for the Lee/Kara shipper thread. And that's only really going back to later 2007. Good gravy lol!
