anyone still play?

I haven't played EQ in years. I am a WoW convert. I found it very hard to play EQ when I could only devote an hour or so at a time. It would take that amount of time just to put a group together. As a cleric, I ALWAYS needed a group.

yea i was a cleric as well ... *shivers* and i stoped playing when my guild leader yelled at me for not showing up to raids when i just didnt want to play. moved to wow and i played a healer there too till the DKs came out now i'm a tanker *rar* but my friends always poking me to come back , and when they had free months for all accounts the patcher hated me and its like yea soe hasnt changed.

When I switched to WoW, I made a hunter. I wanted to be independent :D I still miss friends who played Everquest, but most of them have moved onto other games. And, I have a great new bunch of friends on WoW. Even my brother is in my guild!

hehe yea i made alot of friends in wow then alot moved T_T i had my brothers,sister inlaw, cousin to play with but they stoped playing so me and the hubby moved to be with his best friend then he left wow like 1 month after we moved... i was pissed but i was sick of pvp anways and then when i made my dk we made friends with a priest mage and hunter group of friends and we been grouping/raiding since lol yay for never sitting in lfg!

I'm playing Darsa again; got her to 83 so far. Hubby's playing his zerker Shrunk; don't know for how long tho, cuz if he doesn't get his unemployment approved there won't be extra funds for games :(

Naw I stopped playing EQ back in early 2005 after I got the flu and we had just moved to Alaska. I don't miss it, to be honest. I played WOW off and on, but my other hobbies pulled me away from that, too. I can't WoW, write, and art at the same time lol.

I still play EQ, I have 85 cleric (they can solo now btw :P) thats in a raiding guild, and I also have toons on FV, highest being 81.

Just reactivated EQ2 aswell... I'm such an addict.

Were we all clerics? lol. I haven't played EQ in over 2 years and don't miss it really. Play WoW occasionally but it is getting boring and I have way too much to do.


A cleric soloing....how interesting. I tried to once, mobs 10 levels lower, didn't turn out very well.:froggie

hehe i was always a battle cleric and alot of people on my server called me crazy i soloed all the time even in the good old days. atm my wow account is canceled since i dont have a comp. to play on seems silly to keep it open lol. i was just wondering how much the game changed last i remember my cleric was 73 and a few fights from 2.0 but i got bored with sitting lfg and what not so moved back to wow.

Caris is 75 and Las is 70 but I let an officer in my old guild use Caris and he got her last 5 levels lol. I hated playing that stupid cleric. I would log on just to see the old girls again but I don't wanna pay for it haha.

Last time I played EQ1 it was about 2 1/2 years ago. I play EQ2 and Wow off and on though. :) My last bout with wow may have been it though.

think the new max lvl for eq is 85 which is another reason i'm thinking of not going back >.< sure my friends would help but meh lol thats still alot to lvl in eq exp

Oh I was a cleric. I started off as a male barbarian shaman, switched to Caitlinn my druid, but I couldn't kite for shit, then leveled up Maelarya my cleric. I started off in WoW with a priest but finished it with a hunter and a Death Knight. I hate people and I hated healing them.

lol yea thats how i felt roz , it was always the healers fault and i got tired of being the blame.

You have to invest too much time in EQ. With wow you can jump in and then jump out without having to group with anyone. I went from being this totally social player to soloing and only occasionally talking shit to morons in general chat in wow.

Yeah I really enjoyed that. =D

Yea I fell into the healing trap in WoW and made a druids but quit her ass after 28 levels and made the hunter I wanted to play. They are both 80 now and I made the druid a boomkin so no one can bitch at me about their raid dying.

WoW is not the social game EQ was and the old days of me sitting and talking for hours with random assholes are gone...it's probably the only part of EQ I miss because no one ever says shit on WoW unless it's something totally dumb.

yea the old eq i do miss , just everything being new and such hehe i met alot of fun people and not to say some really fun weddings O.o

I miss old EQ. I've toyed with re-activating a time or two. hehe.

Currently playing EQ2 at time moment. Never played a healer, I don't have the attention span to look at 5 health bars. LOL
