Icon lag

not sure if it has to do with what i got set up but my icon lag they take least 1 min to load (only about 15 of em) in my folders i put my daz downloads , its only those icon that lag to point its really annoying. anyone else had this problem? i just did a wipe and it wasnt doing it before the wipe >.< vista is still evil even after 2 years.
