Temple Grandin...

...is giving a lecture at my local community college in October. Since there's a handful of people in the autism community around here, I thought others might be interested :).

Temple Grandin is something of a celebrity in the autism community - highly successful in her chosen field (animal science), she is a known advocate for others on the spectrum and a role model for many. She's written several books about autism, animals, and both.

Anyone else read her stuff? Actually, it occurs to me that people in the animal rights community might be interested in her work as well.

When the lecture comes around, I'd be happy to post my notes if people are interested. Also, if there is an opportunity for questions, I'll speak up if anyone here has anything they'd like me to ask.
