UK PSA about texting while driving (graphic)

Well, it's not REALLY graphic - I"ve seen better makeup, but it's pretty violent. 4 minutes long, but interesting.

They showed a toned down version on the news here last night actually. Was on the phone with my mom at the time tho so didn't really pay it much attention.

Yea, I caught it on You Tube a week or so ago, via another forum, but saw it on the tv news last night as well. Wonder if it will do any good...sure hope so.

I never text and drive. Even if some1 calls me, i pull over or just don't answer it.... I'm sure they'd rather me live than take the call and kill somebody or myself....

Hopefully it'll do some good, but ppl will still break rules regardless

Yea. We passed a law in California that states you cannot use a cell phone while driving, unless you use it hands free. Texting is also illegal while driving now. However, every night I drive home I see at least one person doing one of the above. Yesterday the local area CHP were supposed to be out cracking down, but I have to say I didn't see a lot of cars pulled over during my commute.

I drive for a living and NEVER text while driving. I don't answer the phone either unless it rings twice in a row cos then I know its important and I pull over. I will get a handsfree one day lol. It's so sad though to see this happening way too often. Teens often think they are invincible, that it will never happen to them, but it does.

Wow that was horrible. I don't even own a cell phone, so this whole texting craze is completely odd to me. It's almost as bad as drinking and driving according to them though.

Texting just seems obviously insane to me; however, I know when I used to talk on the cell phone while driving, it was nearly impossible for me to pay attention to what the person was saying on the phone, and what was going on around me on the road. Ultimately I recognized that, and quit talking on the phone while driving, way before it became illegal. I was lucky nothing happened to me in the mean time...or anyone else around me.
