Golden Drops - ARGH!!
So I'm trying to freekin' use Golden Drops hair here, and I freekin' can't get the textures to work correctly for me!! *tantrum*
WHY is it that every time I try to use the damn thing, I get these black streaks in the hair??????

If anyone can help me at all, I would be ETERNALLY grateful!

My guess is lighting and/or AO settings. You might wanna post over at their website and see if anyone can help you there. /shrug! =P

Someone had mentioned using their light sets... I tried that and it crashes me when I try to render. Sooooo... I may have wasted my money on this ($#@&(@* hair...

Have you tried turning off the ray tracing on the hair itself? If you are rendering with raytracing that is. That's the only thing I can think of that -might- be causing that. I haven't played with it yet myself so not sure hon

Only that that comes to mind is what Eve said about the ray tracing.
Have you tried doing it the hard way and manually putting in the textures in the material room instead of just clicking the MAT file? I've had to do that a few times for things.

hrmm i havent has any iees with it. If you have AO on your lights that would cause it, or the raytracing. I cant remember what they have ticked on the hair itself but I had to go in and change it because I hate waiting all day for their hair to render ... lol
