Yeah, that's exactly why I said my girl was self-conscious about her bionic hand, so if someone doesn't want to tackle that, they can just pose her hiding her right hand and it would be totally in-character.

The idea is to think creatively about it, you don't have to throw money at it (unless you were just looking for an excuse!).

No, its not the money at all, I earned a shitton last weekend, more than enough to cover the stuff I want for this. But I am permanantly on call and with Guy gonna be out of town alot setting up the new store (its 9 hours drive away) I have to run the store we have here. I haven't had a day off in 3 weeks as it is.

I want to enter, I really do (seriously, have I missed an art event since I came to TAC? lol), but I don't want to take the risk of being banned from future events because I didn't have the time to finish this one in time.

I feel you Jet, I am agonizing over signing up myself. I miss doing art sooo much! But my system just won;t get stable despite new hard drives and so many fresh installs (I'm up to 7 I think) I haven;t even installed Photoshop though I finally installed Studio 3. I still get my system freezing or BSODs all the time, and I have to start up from a CD because no matter what we do one file is missing. But turn in isn;t until November so if I save the file constantly.. It's tempting.

BSOD nearly always = driver issues. I guess you have probably tried that, but worth checking again. Also, when I had huge BSOD issues a couple years ago, turned out I had to update my MOBO BIOS, so check you have the correct BIOS version for your system too.

You know.... I usually let the resident tech expert deal with it, but all he wants to do for the past 6 months or so is load Vista instead which I refuuuuuse. But for a month or so now I've been getting EQ2 crashing with errror messages then a BSOD following immediately so I think I will check my vid and sound drivers and see if that helps.. have no idea how to check the MOBO drivers so that sounds like a google job.

Well I am not sure if this has anything to do with your issue. .. but one of the more recent patches in EQ2 realy screwed up the files and everyone had to go in and delete this little one inside the EQ file. . .if you are having trouble logging on I can try to find the thread and send you the link. Thats what I had to do and may have to with my daughters machine casue she hasn't been on in ages.

Temp, a free little program you can use to tell you all about your computer's insides can be found at http://www.freshdevices.com/freshdiag.html . It is really handy, one of the tabs tells you your BIOS information and that is where you can easily see your version. Then you just need to check with the manufacturer's website to see if you have the most recent version.
