Garden State

Well since no one else mentioned it, and its out on DVD now so everyone can see it (was select theatres only). This movie rocks - hard core. It's more of an artsy type flick so if you are a action movie only type person don't see it, but otherwise please buy it immediately :D

I give it 10/10. It instantly went to one of my favorites of all time.

Guy in his young 20s had been living in LA trying to work as an actor (just backstory). He hasn't spoken to parents in years - his mom dies he flies home. Thats about it. I guess its a "coming of age" type movie, and the there isn't really any good way to describe it. The reason it is so good is the music is perfect, the characters are awesome, and its just so awsomely done. Let me find a trailor or something.

Oh this was written by the Scrubs guy, right? I heard it was really really good. I'll go rent it and force veb to watch it with me =D

My husband LOVES this movie. He can't stop listening to the soundtrack. I thought it was cute but didn't quite impact me as it seemed to him. So I wouldn't say this is a chick flick. But it is kind of a love story/coming of age movie as Vulash says.
