Magica?

I think it is something you do with displacement maps, might be included in the Ars Magica set. The forum also mentions something about it being similar to Fable but I don't have Fable hair to check if there is some skin texture in there too. I guess we have to wait for Vex or Lilly to update us :)

It's one of the skin textures that comes with Alice (She has regular, fae and magica). They may or may not put Alice on sale next months so you might get it them if you havent got it.

Ooooh, I see, its an Alice thing. Guess I'll have to get her if she's on sale again.

FYI, you won't get that same look Vex has outta the box either. She did some work on the make up and eyebrows to make her look as pretty as she did. Just so you don't buy Alice and wonder why the skin doesn't look like hers LoL

Yeah...her eyebrows are nasty. I haven't had the time or desire to try and fix them or how orange the damn skin is out of the box.

i am really surprised at how low resolution the skin is. only 2500px instead of 4000px like a lot are. you have to totally bump up the shading rate to hide how bad it looks upclose lol

Yeah she looks really orange with the testing lights we use and I have gotten into the habit of using them to do test renders lol. I wish I could draw some reasonably decent looking eyebrows so I could adjust the ones on her. I've only used her skin twice and once I used Basils script to change her to a yummy dark brown lol.

Wow, tho, that promo... the skin looks freakin REAL. I have tried using Alice's skin in the past and have had no luck at all. Then again I'm kinda not really up on all the fancy ways to make it look good either =/

never draw eyebrows. get a photo resource and use the liquify tool to shape them.

Ach, I just want the fancy tattoo pattern things on her hands and feet etc. God I need to learn how to do this shit myself lol

Oh that shouldn't be too hard to do I don't think. You can open up any skin texture you've got, use some swirl brushes, save the skin with a different name and manually apply it til you like what you see. I think there's another way to overlay things like this but not sure where I saw the tutorial.

Bought it when it came out but never used it so I can't say how easy it is to use. But Laschae is right, you can add your own bits in photoshop and manually apply..
