Thanksgiving 2009

I'll be in the kitchen all day cooking. My idea of a fun time for sure!! :arg

My family is having it at my uncle's in Austin. Of course he has a new baby so now it's 1 bedroom short (did have one for my mom/boyfriend, one for sis/niece and one for me) So right now I don;t know what the exact plan is for staying... don't wanna drive 3 hours each way in 1 day if I can help it. I know Mom is going up a couple days early to help with the cooking so... other than that, who knows.

At least I don't have to cook and decorate MY house!

Me and the hubby are going to have a relaxing 4 days off at home. We'll cook for just us 2 and hopefully we'll just hang out.

My brother is coming up from SoCal, and surprisingly my niece is coming without my sister-in-law (guess she's an adult now! lol), so there will be a few more than usual around our table. My mom LOVES cooking for people, so she'll be in 7th heaven. My job is to come up with a pie, however I can lol.

I only have to work today and tomorrow, so I'll decorate Wed for Thursday, then take everything down Saturday and decorate for Christmas!

This year, since we live in the small pathetic town hubby grew up in ...looks like we'll be going to his grandmothers house for Turkey Day. Not that I'm complaining. She cooks TONS of food.:pleased But there's always like 20+ people there.

I'll probably buy something to cook anyway, just so we have leftover to eat for a couple days. Nothing like leftover turkey sandwiches for days! ROFL

Krista and I are thinking about doing our own thing instead of going somewhere. Since she is vegetarian that means I get the entire turkey myself

hehe me and my mom will cook most of what we can the day before and the rest turkey day. should be fun fighting the kids to stay out really since clover loves to bake with me >.<

We're going to have dinner with our family on and my Great Aunt is coming in from Philly and my cousin is coming down from Boston.

We are gonna have a small dinner this weekend then so we can have left overs. I love Turkey and stuffing! lol

Hubby is working, so Gypsy and I got two lil cornish game hens for us to have that day. We'll prolly do a bigger dinner when he's off for the weekend. Our big dinner is gonna be a just a holiday combo thing in between the two big ones since my daddy is working for both this year. Gonna head over to TN and hang with them for bout 4 days or so :D

bought some turkey parts a tiny ham today the kids and I will prolly bum around all day , I think the neighbors invited us over but shes got her mom there to take care of and stuff so maybe stop by for desert. and who the fuck knew it was so stupidly hard to find a damn chocolate cheesecake in the friggin state o.o
