I totally agree with the Stratego comment too. Geez. I was horrified to see my favorite board game, Splat, had been completely changed. Although.. I can't really find any evidence that it has been now. o_O

Man, do I love Splat. Who can hate a game where you squish your opponents playdough piece? Excellent.

My father used to really dominate at this game, by making "deals", like "you don't have to pay for landing on Boardwalk with 5 hotels, if every time you land on one of my railroads, you pay me triple". I doubt you can do that with this new version. But who knows!

Splat was an amazing game.

all the changes to monoply make the game go by faster and it feels... less meaty. We have the electronic banking one, and we finished a game in 2 hours..Thats not supossa happen

Catherine got the classic Stratego game board for xmas. I fucking hate that game though. My brother used to make me play him every single fucking day and it was so boring to me and he'd always fucking win! grr

Stratego is awesome.

Only bad thing about it though, is that it just takes forever to setup if your not overly familiar with it.
