Massive Attack - Heligoland
First studio album since 2003. Hooray for Horace Andy!
I listened to some samples on Amazon and wasn't too impressed, but I pre-ordered it anyways, cause, hey, it's Massive Attack. I just got it tonight, and really, it was a lot better than I was expecting it would be. It's still no Mezzanine, but that era is gone and nobody makes music like that anymore :( It's not as dark or moody as previous albums, and the sounds aren't as industrial and heavy, but still... it's good.
Horace Andy sounds like he is getting old, though (which I guess he is), and Robert Del Naja sounds like he has a sinus infection. Oh well.
