AS's hairs... argh.

I try, once in a while, to use Fable or Whimsy Curls... and I always end up SO frustrated.
The lighter colors end up coming out streaked with black and basically looking like she rolled in an ashpit and then didn't wash her hair out... for a week. Greasy, lank, not shiny, and streaked in black. I love, especially, Fable Hair, and can't figure out why it comes out like that. I recently got Poser 8 and it STILL does that!

Help? Oh, and if you have something to help me, please dumb down the language a bit, as I'm not very technologically advanced

(oh yeah, and I have two other texture sets for Fable I tried, but they both come out just as crappy)

I don't have any of Aery Soul's hairs and I don't use Poser either

But I'm hoping maybe the principals are relatively the same. Think you could post some screenshots of the hair? I'm not sure how much help I'll be, but I'll try.

I have that problem with Fable Hair too, but not with other texture packs for it, just the base. I have whimsy curls but dont think I;ve ever actually used it tbh lol

What are your render settings ? I have some of their hairs and my computer hates rendering them but I'm trying to see what I get when I render Fable.

go to mat room for the hair and check 'normals forward' at the bottom of the POSER_SURFACE box

yea i need to get more textures for that hair, tho still takes forever to render O.o
