Dead in the Family - Newest Stackhouse novel

So i really feel that I'm begining to only reads these books out of duty. Its a refusal to quit what I've started.

Last years release was slow and boring up until the final moments and this one was even worse. Literally 2.2 seconds of adventure and then an abrupt ending.

I really don't want to read about day to day activities for over 200 pages with only hints to any sort of drama. Followed by a 2 page quick half assed conclusion. Don't get me wrong im not looking for a hardcore action packed book where every page is wholly phuck! but seriously?

Im glad amazon had it for 9 bucks so i didnt waste 25$ at Borders. I will library the book next year.

I feel she's run out of ideas or she's trying to hard to stretch the series out.

I made the observation that the end of this book felt more like a chapter ending, than a book ending. Like maybe she had ideas for a book and a half, but wanted to spread it out into two books.

M'Lady agreed.

It totally did. I understand the argument from others who loved it. "it was about character growth and how they are all changed people now" but that could of been done with some action in it as well.

Babydaddy shoulda been in their much more imo
