Displacement maps not rendering
For some reason, Poser Pro isn't wanting to render displacement maps. I'm using PD's metal materials.. chainmail, and uh the basic dented one? I have my render settings set to render displacement maps. I've tried various render settings and still nothing. Anything else I'm not checking? This is the first time I've ever had this problem and it's frustrating me.

Did you make sure the displacement node isn't at like 0.000000 ?

Yeah.. most of them are set at whatever PD metals defaults are.. like 0.008 or whatever. Checked bmps too. Render settings are the same ones I've used in the past and everything came out perfect. Now I'm ending up with crap like this. His armor should have dents in it, and there should be chainmail loin, not flat cloth.
If this crap keeps up, I'm going to be forced to export this damn piece into Max and render it there. Maybe that will render stupid textures.

Have you tried to up the displacement and bump settings? Maybe ask Janet if she knows about any issues in PP2010?

Yeah I tried that. There shouldn't be any issues in PP2010. I've used PP2010 with PD materials tons of times before, and it all worked fine. grrr!!

did you check 'use displacement maps' in render settings?

Yes Vex. I double checked it was checked. I've tried various rendering settings, various lights, shadows settings, etc.

did you try zooming in and rendering ?

Tried that too. Also tried different camera angles as well - rendering from dolly camera, face camera, default main camera, etc. No luck.
