I See You Love - A Poem

When in your mind
your eyes do see
the man you love
and with whom you want to be
a look of peace
does cross your face
you seem to go
and visit another place
are you in his arms?
does he hold you close?
his arm around your shoulders
are you in a land
of plains and rivers
and mountains and boulders?
nay, place matters not
as long as you're together
and each other's love you've got.
