8% on rotten tomatoes - I'm scared to spend the money

Wait, is that good or bad? Rotten tomatoes confuses me. The higher the rotten the better, right?

That makes me sad. The cartoon is so worth watching...I didn't even expect it to be so I was hoping the movie would be good.

Can I get the cartoon on netflix?

I mean sometimes I love movies that critics hate, but the rating for this is one of the worst I've seen outside of their top worst movies of all time lists. And normally if the critics hate it and I still like it - it's a comedy or something.

The previews looked really good, but then again they were a little vague.

Grown Ups is outscoring it lol

I don't know about netflix...I know they have them at blockbuster...and they are playing them over and over again on nicktoons since the movie came out. Here's a link to watching them online. It's definitely a 3 chapter story (3 movies therefore) and needs to be watched in sequence.

I thought it was a cheesy anime show (Dragonballz-esque) but it's really good...at least I think so.

i saw it last week. Honestly I am not a fan of mr. shyamalam but holy cow - he does not deserve the bad ratings and critique he's getting for this movie. It was really good I think - a little flaky on some actor parts and if i remember right in the beginning some camera angles annoyed me, but overall i think it was a really good movie. I'm watching Season2 of the cartoon on netflix this week with Mike.

I think the critics on RT are being assholes with the 8% rating. I barely knew anything about the series, aside from a small summary Mike gave me, and I followed it just fine. the special effects were great and it flowed really well i thought.

Good enough for theatre or wait for netflix?

i do not regret the $25 i spent at the theater to see this at all. very well worth it imo.

We watched Season 1 with the kiddo before she and I took off for my folks. Have Seasons 2 & 3 waiting for us when we get home. We wanted to watch them before seeing the movie, and I'm glad we did get them all. I remember seeing it here and there on tv and thinking it was one of the cheesy pokemon type toons and just blowing it off. I actually like the storyline tho, and some of the faces they do even make me laugh and I'm not a big anime fan at all. As for the movie, we'll wait for the DVD like usual, but from what I've seen of it I think it will be pretty good.
