Something about space horror movies scares me even more than normal horror movies. Probably the fact that being out in a hard vacuum (or close enough to one) with nothing but that thin layer of space suit separating you from a horrible death by explosive decompression is already scary. Also the whole vastness of empty space scares me, much like the thought of being lost out at sea, or being trapped in a submarine.

If you shoot for the moon and miss, at least you'll be suspended in an empty void where no one can help you and you'll never see another familiar face again. Should you land instead of falling into orbit around a star that will cook you with radiation, it will be on a supermassive planet that will burn you to a cinder with its fluorine based atmosphere before crushing your remains into a tiny ball of soot completely unrecognizable as your former self with under its immense gravity. In other words, don't shoot for the stars, shoot yourself. -- Hallmark
