I saw the Devil (japanese - foreign)

God dang. This movie was fucked...up. Kelefane, you need to netflix this, it's got straight up gore and shit. Insanely graphic with an actual plot and incredible acting. Granted they were speaking in korean (english subtitles) but the main character who's seeking revenge is the SHIT in this movie. And the serial killer...who looks like a fat Jackie Chan...does fucking crazy better than any US actor I've ever seen.

It does have a little torture/rape, nothing too graphic. Also cannibalism, a little humor, but just some general fucked up...ness. The ending? Man, it's a long, torturous road (no pun intended) but the ending does give you a bit of closure. Wow. Seriously. Just...wow.

No, but I've heard of it. THere is a limit to how much gore and shit I'll take. I'm nowhere near Kelefane's level lol

There wasn't really any gore, but it's still a disturbing movie. The main character is the guy who plays the serial killer in this movie here.

It's a small actor pool, I guess. British actors are few and far between too, apparently.

I recognized the main character from somewhere, too. Wearing a white suit. Couldn't remember, so I had to look it up... G.I. Joe! No wonder I couldn't remember. South Korea only has a population of 48 million people (not much less (relative to the US population) than the UK's 62 million), so I guess it's understandable that their pool of available actors isn't all that huge.

I might netflix oldboy, but then you said that one Brothers movie was good and I never finished that one =x

I might actually watch it again. It's pretty horrible, but still not as bad as Requiem For a Dream. It's just that the ending is all sorts of messed up O_o

Yeah I didn't see it coming, not until I saw those angel wings. O_o Crappy thing was that it was all dubbed, not subtitled. So whenever there was writing, there was no translation so I was like WHAT DOES IT SAY - WHO IS THAT?? Took me a minute to figure out who was with that chick at the ending that the main character saw messing with her.
