Just playing around with Bryce

Finally took some time to play around with reflections and such in Bryce 5. Then toyed with the image some in PSP8. I don't think it came out half bad... but it may be the cold I have too... lol

Awesome! Yeah, I've been thinking about trying Bryce out too simply because it's supported by DAZ and I'd like to try out exporting to Bryce to render. Has anyone else tried it yet?

Exporting from DAZ Studio to Bryce 5 works FABULOUS with the Turbo Importer!!! Here is a sample... dragon was brought up in DAZ Studio and had the texture and pose applied in DAZ, then exported and imported into Bryce... then rendered in Bryce :)

I won't lie to ya and tell you that Bryce is easy to learn. I haven't even begun to scratch the surface of it LOL However, there are many wonderful tutorials out there for it. Plus I highly recommend the Real World Bryce 4 by Susan Kitchens (yes, Bryce 4 book works with Bryce 5). I got mine from Amazon Marketplace for $28 (new) instead of the $60.

I tried Bryce 4 a while ago and don't remember much, but I do remember the controls were a bit awkward.
