What am I missing??

AARGH!

I spent $12 that I really couldn't afford on this awesome-possum set of backgrounds: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/mel-s-fantasy-places/86918

And I will be damned if I can figure out how I'm supposed to use it! :( I use Poser 8, and everything unzips into textures and materials room; how am I supposed to actually USE the backgrounds? Is there something I should be sticking it to??

I feel like a complete idiot... help? :o

Did it not have instructions in the readme?

My first guess would be you apply them in the Mat room..to the grey, bg area of the scene if it doesnt come with a prop, but I don't have anything like that so I really have no clue

Put them where ever you want and use them in postwork. She put them in there since apparently that's how they do them when they include lights and such, but the backgrounds themselves don't have to be applied to anything. Just pick a light that matches one of the backgrounds you wanna use, render, and slap it behind it in PS or whatever ;)

Okay then! I was right, I am a complete idiot. LOL! I was opening the wrong thing in PS, and couldn't figure out WTF I was doing wrong. *sigh*

No prob hon! They are gorgeous backgrounds for sure. You'll have fun with them now ;) And you're not an idiot btw :p I asked Mel myself why they were in textures LoL
