So trying to make up my mums 25th anniversary invitations and I wanted something religious/Christian like for them cuz it reflects her and my stepdad. However, I am clueless as to what to add in there
Anyone got any suggestions, other then the corny ones I have come across over the web? i suck at this christ/God stuff /cry

Buy them an upside down cross with 666 in the center to hang on the wall.

Make up? Like you are making them something by hand or with your 3d stuff?

Either way some things that best signify: crosses, white, doves, dogwood (sometimes), olive branch/leaf, etc.

A good thing to add is a verse or something. A search for 'christian anniversary verses' can probably bring up some nice things such as: http://www.loveneverfaileth.com/Christian_Anniversary_Cards.html

White and gold is an awesome combination ;D

Hope that helps, let me know if you need any more help! <3

It looks corny because it is corny. You can thank Hallmark for that. If it hadn't been plastered all over the inside of ready-made greeting cards with soft-focused pictures of white roses and shit for the past however many years, it might actually still mean something. I buy blank cards and just write "Happy Birthday" or "Happy Anniversary" and that's that. Or I make my own card (and still just write "Happy Birthday"). Sad thing is, most people dig the corny stuff.

Or maybe the sad thing is that I no longer think of these greeting card phrases as profound. Meh. I never claimed that I wasn't cynical. Better safe than sorry, though... just put the corny verses in the invitations and give Hallmark a run for their money.

Maybe there is a passage out of the Bible that they like? Or that would reflect their relationship. Of course, that does mean having to search the Bible for something...nice...but yeah lol. All I can think of ;/ I'm a pentagrams person too :P

We put the passage from Boondock Saints on my sister's funeral sheet.. She would have wanted it that way.

As for anniversaries.. prolly something corny would be fine. David always writes his cards to me but they end up being more like letters, very long and heartfelt. Not really suitable for invitations.

hehe thx ..

I see what ya mean now about the cross and random shit thrown on cards then call them "religious" ... Sad really :/

I saw so many cards come up only because it had some sort or cross on it heh

Finally came up with something and she loved it yay! Thanks for all the help guys~!
