"Dragon!" -- Sketch Topic for 2/26-3/3
In honor of the Year of the Dragon, we call on our participants to submit any sketches, renders or photographs of a dragon!
This is a tiny painting that I'm working on. I've amped up the contrast with Photoshop. When it's done, I'll post it.

This is something I started working on for my husband, who, in preschool, convinced his entire class that he had a dragon companion that only he could see. Earlier attempts (which I will not be posting) ended up looking like a platypus reptile, but I think this is shaping up okay.

The contrast looks perfect - very nice use of color theory happening there. I think he could give ol' Trogdor a run for his money!
