Blade Runner Mafia Day 1 Voting
Voting will close at midnight est tonight. Remember, you must vote or risk death by natural causes. No anon voting. If you want to make it easier on me, you can bold the name of the person you are voting for. I'm starting another thread for discussion so try to keep this thread to just your vote. If you change your mind before the deadline, edit your post in this thread indicating the new person you wish to vote for (don't make a new post, it will confuse my dumb ass).
Holler if you have any questions, and may the backbiting and drama begin!

Caitlinn stood in the doorway of her apartment and listened quietly to the mumuring around her. Everyone was slowly returning to their normal business. She heard them talking about the professor, Tyler Anderson. The thought of him made her flinch slightly. 'Doctors...'
Curiously enough Madcow was being implicated, but by Rufus. Troubled Rufus. Her suspicions about Jean were fading now. Sometimes its not the obvious choice.

Although the doctors say that rufus has schizophrenia in his discription, and all signs point to the SK as having it, his character was created after the scenario introduction. Also, I don't find his replies of his defense strange at all.

As a self revelation (and due to the fact that we all woke up) I decided to vote for Madcow. Lets silence this silent killer!

Now, although I am not sure exactly what this bloodthirsty quest for my blood is exactly regarding, I must say that Rufus is NOT guilty. for simple reasons of practicality - he is dangerous. Although I don't doubt there is something more to what is going on here, the obvious choice presently seems to be focused primarly on the schizo nature of the SK. In addition, his responses illustrate rash behavior, illogical thinking, and a primal fear often associated with ones own demise.
I point you once again to http://www.schizophrenia.com.
Lets disect T_Smith's recent comments and note his symptoms.
Delusion of reference - Automatically drawing unwanted attention to himself, little comment had been directed his way, just on schizo's and the corrolation of the speech and immediatly he assumes 'everyone is out to get him.'
We have some more Delusions of reference in here; we also have Disorganized speech (aka word salads). Also note the lack of appropriate social skills and the apparent lack of care for forming friendship bonds. This post also shows some cognitive issues. Problmes understanding that Vulash, did in fact, point me as a possiblity - in fact, I am the first listed. Etc. Etc.
Again, notice the focus on himself. Dellusions of granduer here? "I am a townie" He obviously believes he isn't the SK, but does that mean he isn't? I don't know. Again, a paranoia and acute fear of me - and others around him. He also is assuming a rash behavior (posting immediatly) and thinks it is more convincing then coherent thought (sources, analitical responces - which I took the time to write out.)
You can see the patterns here, I don't feel it appropriate to further point them out, but if, you are not convinced, plelase alert me, and I can continue doing just that.
But, this isn't an obvious matter. Upon further inspection, I have come to the conclusion that although paranoid, he is not acting out of the ordinary for a mental patient would. Things in his environment have radically changed. We are all upset about this, he just has trouble coping.
No, Instead I think teh obvious choice is someone you would least expect. Someone with little to gain in this world and obvious torment in thier past.
Unfortunatly, I have to point to Mileron/Collin McStetson. It is too early to know for sure, and I am sure needless bloodshed will take place, being as justice ahs broken down. I do apologize in advance if I am wronged and I have no doubt that I will be condemned to hell, or whatever you make of it, after all is said and done.

I do admit that the schiz stuff pointed at me is a good reason to suspect me, but you guys are wrong. If you do happen to lynch me, then do me a favor and lynch Geeii when the SK is still alive.

You named a lot of people as possible SK, but you failed to mention anything pointing to Geeii. I put my own findings there, and a bit more substatial findings, IMO.
A tad defensive? Heh. Ok, we have a couple of people insinuating the schizo thing, and I had to respond. So how should I have responded? Ignored it, blindly follow your leads, or find my own leads and decide for myself?
Pointing fingers? I pointed towards one person whom no one else was noticing, gave substatial reasoning, and acknowledged the accusations against myself. I don't see how I acted any differently than anyone else.
Like I said, the schizo thing is pretty damning. But if you lynch me, don't be surprised when the SK is still alive. All I ask is that when that happens, you lynch Geeii afterwards. And if it so happens to be that you heed me, and the SK is still alive tomorrow, well then, the best bet would be to lynch me.

LOL, no not offended. Its a game of accusations and I've played quite a bit, so I'm used to it.
But come on, nothing I gave was concrete enough? I gave 3 good reasons that he fit the role, more than I see of anyone else. The problem is the schizo stuff. If the accusation wasn't against me, and me knowing I was a townie, I'd totally be taken by that. Which is why I'm certain I have a probably chance at being lynched tonight.
See, I see it for you guys as a choice between me or Geeii as SK. Since I know I'm a townie, that leaves only one other option for me. Geeii. Which means if I get lynched tonight, Geeii should be lynched tomorrow (I try to help out on future days when I have a chance of dying, its how I play).
I gave good reasons, I checked everyones characters (I have suspisions for mafiosos, too), and Geeii hasn't responded so it's not like you can go off of his posts like you are mine.

Jacob stands on his balcony this evening, as he always does. The day's last cigarette burns itself out, and will soon be extinguished. This will not be the only flame to be snuffed out this night. I have lost many things over the course of my life, Jacob muses to himself, but I have yet to lose my mind. There is nothing more depraved, depressing, or detrimental to the human race than a man who is so out of touch with the rest of mankind that he no longer knows what is real. Rufus Deaner might or might not have been the one to cut that poor woman up, but either way, we will be better off without him.

The man with the missing eye, Madcow, seems a likely killer. He portrays himself as a kind man but he is hiding something dark and sinister. He seems to have a grudge against someone, or something.

The apartment building on the east side of the city had never seen such activity. The residents became increasingly unnerved as cops came and went with no explanation and precious little information, until finally they all agreed to meet in the abandoned top floor suite and discuss their current situation. It all started calmly enough, and looking back no one could really explain what exactly lit the fuse. Voices were raised, things were said and taken back and said again. One neighbor shoved another hard in the chest, slamming him into a rotting chest of drawers.
The sudden violence and the oppressive smell of mold and rot in the apartment were enough to bring everyone to agreement on one thing; it was probably time for a breather on the balcony, if one could call strapping on masks to filter the toxic air and standing around out of doors a breather. Unfortunately the cooler air did nothing to end the tension; muscles twitched in anticipation of a fight and sharp looks were exchanged. Soon the shouting began again, and escalated dangerously to pushing.
In the end, the only thing the neighbors walked away agreeing on that night was that Madcow had simply been in the wrong place at the wrong time. He probably hadn’t even seen it coming, what with his bad eye leaving him blind on one side. Had he not chosen to lean on the railing in quite that way, or moved a little quicker when a tangle of quarrelling people careened into him, perhaps he would not have fallen. Fallen, of course. Certainly not pushed to his death.
/ooc SKIDS plz kkthx. And sorry this scene did so little to move the plot along, you'll get a nice long blathering one tomorrow
