She wears plate armor but I'm on with a draping robe =D Me and robes hehe.

Step by step! Even though I know you wont get this till like Saturday. Oh well!

Actually I'm here! I snuck on my father's computer (visiting family up north) I LUV HER!!!! The robe looks amazing! :clap

Pretty much done. Just some touch up! Thought I would put up the process I went through because... um... I'm bored and dont wanna go to bed! Aww, thats when all great artwork is done ^^




So lets see. First one is just the horrible ink job I gave the above pencil sketch. It made baby jesus cry, but apparently when shrunk its pretty! Yay! Second one is just with solid colors I was going to use. I gave it a dark grey background since when you put the sketch on multiply (a blending setting) it looked funny on a white background with all the solid colors. I dunno. Your supposed to k!? Third one is just a random one in the process of shading. I think at that point I had only done the hair (which makes me so happy it turned out nice!) I think I started putting in the major colors of the shading as well. Looks blotchy tho! Needed work! And then the last one, I put some texture into the robe's middle section, and left the rest smooth with some strong shading to make it look all smooth and silk-ay :D Smoothed out some of the shading that I didnt like either and just added a little winkle to Mae's mischevious eyes while taking some of the crazy shine out of her all too pearly teef :D And I've yet to sign anything. Hmm :\ What ya think mae?! :D Only problem is the lines look all junky for some reason. I think its the server I loaded it onto. Stupid server.

OH OH, I love that background. The inside color looks off though. Maybe try a soft gold? Or faded black? Oh oh , faded black!
