April Showers Sign-Ups - Closed

Welcome to the second official art exchange hosted by The Angry Crayon! Our first exchange was designed for the participants to get to know each other a little better and fairly open in terms of a theme. This time around, your submissions should follow a Spring theme but should still be tailored to fit the personality of the person and/or character for whom you are creating your submission. Anything that evokes images of Spring or things related to the season are welcome. As with the style of TAC, all art mediums and skill levels are welcome.

Sign-ups will be open from 4/3/05 until 9 AM CST on Saturday, 4/9/05. At the end of the sign-up period, assignments will be sent via PM to each participant. The assignments will be done completely at random so as to be fair to everyone. Everyone is encouraged to keep their assignments a secret, so any questions you may have can be relayed through Ryala in order to maintain anonymity.

The submission thread will be opened at 9 AM CST on 4/30/05. All submissions will be due on Saturday, 4/30/05, by Midnight CST.

To make sure we all understand what is entailed in participating in a TAC art exchange, the rules are as follows:

+ All artwork must be submitted on time. Failure to do so may result in being barred from some or all future exchanges. Exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis. This is a big deal, folks. You wouldn't want to pour your heart out on a piece of art only to get nothing in return. Please don't do the same to someone else. If you don't think you will be able to make the due date, please notify me. If you simply won't be able to submit your art during the desginated time slot, send it to me in advance and I will make sure your person receives it.

+ Submissions must not violate copyright law. This is a no-brainer.

+ All participants must post their info in the character reference thread. People need the infoz to make you stuff!

+ In your post to sign up, a link to prior artwork should be provided. This is not to judge your prior work, but helps to limit the people signing up to those who have done some type of art before and are more likely to fulfill their part of the exchange.

Please be sure to indicate any holiday preferences in your post!
