HM - The Mafia /ooc the winner and roles
For those of you who just read that epilogue and left scratching your heads and going wtf, let me explain. Or attempt to.
I will let Vulash and Grimknot explain the depth and intent of their alliance; I will only say that never before have I come across two players on opposing teams who were more loyal. It's sort of cute *giggles*. Even when they had managed to blaze a path through both the mafia and the townies to be the last men standing, they remained allied. Normally, in a situation where there is a Mafia player and a Serial Killer as the last people standing on Mafia's turn, it's an automatic win for the Mafia. All the Mafia has to do is SKID the serial killer and take the game. However, neither Grimknot nor Vulash wanted to end that way; they had gone in together and wanted the tie.
Of course, I assumed one party or the other would betray the other. Imagine my surprise when they insisted on their loyalty to the alliance. I still can't get over it *shakes head*. At any rate...ties don't happen in this game very readily. The game isn't really designed for it. But, luckily for them, there was a loophole; they could SKID themselves. Which they did. *sniffs* ain't it beautiful. So, that is where the final scene is coming from. Make sense? Good. On another note, whoever finds The Doors reference in the scene gets a cookie.
Alright, I will stop blathering now and...reveal the roles for the lazy people who don't want to read the long assed Epilogue!
Godfather: Aramous
Mafia: Goofball, Grimknot, and Larene
Sheriff: Ryala
Doctor: MEC
Serial Killer: Vulash
I'm kind of tuckered out, but will make and effort to post clues and answer questions tomorrow, as well as go over some of the highlights.
I do, however, feel compelled to mention that I nearly fell out of my chair when Elvaiz listed all the bad guys on day two. When Grimknot admitted they were the bad guys, I think I did fall out of my chair.
Good job !!!
:booze
Pretty much after Jinheim's death everything that happened was planned in advance. I don't want to sound cocky but Grim and I really ripped it up. I had begun seeing small clues pointing at Grim as mafia and the way he revealed himself as sheriff to me was fishy considering Grim's intelligence. At any rate I revealed myself as the SK to him, and he revealed himself as Mafia. The last true post I did was Alex. I really found those clues and thought she was mafia until a little before that vote closed. Once I realized everything that wsa going on I went along with it and finished her off.
Bob - Reverend Bob was my Patsy. My first kill wasn't intended to frame him. I started the game out with the plan of killing people that weren't posting or voting at all. First was Krassus - knowing Krassus I assumed he wasn't interested really, but I found out later he really was and just had to work. Woops! Anyway the Bob talks began and I was laughing. I decided then to keep framing him even though it really is a poor frame, but htat worked even better for my plan. I'd frame him right up, people would bite - then I'd post publicly saying it was a dumb fram there was no way it was him. In doing this I made myeslf look less like the SK, and kept bob from getting lynched despite heat every single day. Alex? Yea that was me saving bob, even if I thought the clues were real I didn't care, other then the save Bob. Then frame him again and save him again. As long as Bob was alive if it ever did get to hot for me to handle I could pull out a patented Vulash clue post and set him up, buy me a day and take off one of the antiVulash supporters that wasn't loud spoken enough to get me in trouble. Also this beat Bob down to the point where he eventually realized what was going on and suspected us, but there was nothing he coudl do about it. If he poitned a finger it would look like a foolish attempt to save his own life and we'd stop defending him. It helped that Grim had Torn'ts vote in his pocket and eventually Bob just started voting how we told him so he could stay alive. That gave us 4 votes. With 4 votes there isn't much you can't accomplish.
The best part was when I framed Aniyah - I made every single bit of that up and she still got lynched. Oh and I did it using clues that pointed to Grimknot, the other reporter ;p. Once again I did it to save bob lol. A little finger pointing + 4 votes and she was dead. The best part was at that point there were so few people left each day we became more unstoppable controlling so many votes. By the day there were just 6 people Geeii put some heavy clues in, but it really wouldn't have mattered if he had said "Vulash is SK and Grim is Mafia' we had it locked really.
There is no way I'll remember everything devious we came up with and put into motion, but we were really working the scenes hardcore and had a blast. We worked so hard there was no way I was going to betray Grim to "win". Besides thats been done before. In my mind we won by doing something new. I was also confident that Grim wouldn't betray me. When we told each other what we really were with all seriousness and pretense aside it was sealed. Saying that involved an amount of real trust, and it wasn't going to be taken back. It probably can't happen again, and I expect if either of us are in Xmen we'll be killed fast. Or so I'm told. I'm pretty slippery unless the mafia kils me out of spite :D
The best part was when I framed Aniyah
Hey butthole... that wasn't the BEST part. :P
