Gilly - the prepubescence in the 80s years!

Because of the discussion of my late bloomingness (not a word, sue me), I promised to post the following embarassing pictures of myself.

Grade 6 (Year 1986/Age 12): Here I am clearly sporting, embarassingly, my first bra. Why? Because my mother felt it was time. I got laughed at for wearing this in gym cause the other girls said I had no boobs. Years later, I would laugh at them and say the same thing.

Grade 8 (Year 1988/Age 14): What you see here that resembles something like bumps that might be construed as the beginnings of boobs is actually boning in the dress. This was my junior high school graduation. Please note the Sheen E hairdo. I was pretty sure I looked hot when this picture was taken.

Grade 10 (Year 1990/Age 16): Aha! There seems to be something resembling breasts! But alas, I wore a lot of vests in those days...they were the fashion (see Ducky, Pretty in Pink) but they also hid the complete lack of womanly features. Note also the exceedingly large earrings, also a well known 80s fashion which disturbingly has come back.

I now must insist that others post their early teen photos or I shall die of shame.

Id add to it, but all my old photos, except a couple from when I was about 2 or 3 got lost when my parents got divorced. Or, translation: I didnt want to go through your mom's stuff so just trashed everything.

/sigh

No, my mom wouldn't let me wear band tshirts...she felt that that would be promoting the lifestyles of the people in the band who were clearly bad people.

Anu asked me to post some more...I've gotta see what else I can dig up ;) I've got some funny ones to be certain!
