GRAPPLES!
WTF??!! These things are SO GOOD. I paid like 5.39 for 4 (probably cheaper in the lower 48) and they come packaged all cute and shit. Its suppose to look like an apple but taste like a grape. I WISH i had grapes this sweet. Seriously this is the sweetest piece of fruit I have ever eaten. It tastes like a jolly rancher almost.

*shy poster* I have to buy them all the time. I have 2 kids that eat them like there is no tomorrow. First time I saw them I pointed and said um ok. So I grabbed a thing of 4. Got home opened it. Cut open the Grapple and is smelled just like a grape and it was goooooood! Then my daughter took it from me. Now I have no chance at them. By time I get to them they are all gone.

I found it at the commissary (military store) but I know you can find them anywhere. Try the bigger food chains and check the produce section. They're packaged by 4's in this plastic thingy, its cute.

I have Albertson's, Tom Thumb, and Kroger (Smith's on the West coast) within a 2 mile radius...can I find them at one of those?

I'll have to look for them next time I'm out. I tend to go to the store in the wee hours of the morning.. so wandering around aimlessly is the only way to find anything. :(

oooh Im gonna have to find some of these. I love fruits. I have never seen them at Krogers or Food Max (cheap lil whole in the wall here) but Im thinking Publix will, they usually have all kinds of different stuff. I love fruit, I could eat it all day.

OK I went to publix (and I normally dont, their shit is expensive imo) and they had none. Im all excited about this now and there is no where here to get them atm. They said they carried them at one time, but they are hard to get, so they dont get them often. Damn you Mae and your posts about awesome food. You know i cant handle these temptations!!!!

They look exactly like gala apples only almost oval shaped. That pretty yellow/orange streaked skin.
