She's lovely! Excellent job on the lighting and the sky background is awesome. The glow on her staff is a nice touch too. :woohoo

The only crit I have is the water seems too thick, it looks more like oil. Not that I could help with that, trying to make something light and wispy is the bane of my painting existance. :(

*Grumbles again at the one she's working on that isn't coming out right*

Good body pose, there are only a couple things I see that I would have done different. First her eyes are either too small or too far apart, this makes the nose area seem extremely flat. Also her boobies (not that i was looking) are different cup sizes and I think its because of the bottom breast line on the right boobie. The stomach and back came out great and as well as her hand pose around the staff.

Is painter better than photohop for colouring lineart and scans? I see that you prefer that and I am looking for something better than photoshop.

/agree with c/c - but the thing that stood out to me was her bikini. It does have that unfinished look to it. Maybe draw in some design? Add like little jewels - I dont know but it could use a little more.

Plus that's hot. :teehee

That bathing suit btw looks like the one I saw I wanted that was Gucci that Ill never ever ever get.

I think each piece was over 500 dollars. :-o (Insert another emoticon here that poops when it sees that.)

It had these tatters hanging off it, like someone ripped it off of her, was really sexy looking. Could add something like that in

I think shes beautiful. I dont think the water looks too thick per se, but too thick compared with the rest of it. The other parts dont look so painted, so it doesnt match.

But hey! Im an amatuer not good at anything! So dont take that more than just observation!! :) Lovely hon.

Edit: And when I say "painted" I guess I mean the water looks like an oil painting done on canvas, the other looks like watercolor. Or something. Hey I had to compare it to something I know lol.

Perhaps to help with the 'heavy' feel of the water a tad of splatterish spray around her calves? Other than that yeah the bikini has an unfinished feel simply because it's white and so your shadows are sublte and it seems undone compared to if you used another color. It's just the nature of white IMO.

Make the ring in the middle gold or something to add some color then :) Or something. lol /wink I think white does that to pics too. When I do charcoal Im always over shadowing the white cause it doesnt feel right.

Yeah, I noticed that, too. Didnt look so much like oil before i made it darker when i decided it was going to be night. *sigh*

I actually did the eye thing on purpose. Someone recently accused me of making elves humans with pointy ears, so i tried making her face look a little... off. Now people are saying she looks weird. :P As for the boobies... well... uh... she's got no support on the right because the strap has fallen, so she's sagging a bit... or its because she's in a kinda 3/4 veiw... or maybe its because i suck. ;)

I just hate photoshop. *shrug* Painter seems more natural to me. Pencils act like real pencils, paints act like real paints, small furry creatures act like real small furry creatures.

the thing that stood out to me was her bikini. It does have that unfinished look to it. Maybe draw in some design? Add like little jewels

But... but she's a priestess. She's all humble and shit. Or something. ... Not buying it? Okay, I'll see if i can add some jewels or something.

I think each piece was over 500 dollars.

WTF?! :looney

I wanted to keep it simple. Apparently you people dont like simple. :P

I'll see if i can get any of these suggestions to work to make the piece look better. Thanks for the comments :)

No no I *do* like the piece!! And I didn't mean you should color it, simply that an unfortunate possible side effect of using white for your clothes is it has a tendancy to seem unfinished.

heehee... was ment playfully. guess the " :P " didnt convey that. :D

i like the comments - cant get better without a few pointers along the way :)

*giggle snort* Now I'll have to go play with painter some more.. I hate it when the small furry creatures behave oddly. :lmao
