Happy Mom's Day!
Happy Early Mom's Day!
Ok so this was really just a cheap excuse to come in and be all excited about my gift. We normally get each other something very small for holidays, so as to save our money for the kiddies. Well I got suprised today. For one, if I expected anything, I expected it for Mother's Day. For two, we get to go out ALONE tomorrow!! For 3, he brought me something so totally awesome. (well to me). One was a very pretty Necklace charm with this Mother in gold holding her child. It has diamonds around the side. For two, I got heart and diamond earrings to match. The other he was supposed to give me when we went out tomorrow, but he couldnt wait. Its a 1/4 carat diamond cluster ring.
I was like :jaw :cry
I think he felt bad for the Valentines day he got me nothing. lol
/wink
YAY!!
Hope all you mom's have a good weekend, because to me, one day just isnt enough! haha. :)
<3 to the mothers.
That is very sweet of him.
I got the cutest card, my 5 year old made in school. This had a little more meaning behind it, to me. This is my first Mothers Day as a single mom, and my son tells me all the time, "I'm da man of da house, huh mom?"
I always tell him, "yes, you are sweetie."
This Mothers Day card had the bottom half of flowers drawn on it. So, all that was drawn on were stems and leaves. There were slits cut where the actual flower would go. Inside that slit, were cupcake holder papers, folded up and stuck down in there. Very cute.
Inside each cupcake paper, there was a message written.
My son's messages to me:
1: I will help mom cook
2: I will help mom clean
3: I will help mom clean the yard
4: I will love mom
5: I will be the best man in her life
Oh my. I cried.
THEN!
My little guy sees me with tears in my eyes and got the wrong impression. I quickly assured him that they were happy tears, and I ADORED my card.
He said, "Mum, I twied to put weal flowews in there, but the teachers wouldn't let me." then he added, "I know Daddy doesn't live here anymore, but, will he still get you a present like for your birthday? You deserve all the presents in the world mum."
Coming from my 5 year old..../smile...needless to say, my early Mothers Day present was perfect.
That reminds me, I gotta call my mom....
Happy Mother's Day, Mom :winky
Dang I think Im gonna cry myself after immy's story!! lol
