Scarecrow, do your job!
"Look at my corn!" Emma Jacobson yelled. "Those damn crows had picked it clean, where the hell were you?!!"
"I was there," the one handed scarecrow replied "but the crows didn't seem to care"
The answer did little to calm Mrs Jacobson down. "Well maybe if you actually did your job right they would be" She grabs the struggling scarecrow by the head and thrusts it towards the fireplace. "Next time you screw up, I'm chopping your head open and burning all the useless hay inside you!" She loosens her grip on his head and kicks him towards the front door. The frightened scarecrow trips as he stumbles past the threshold.
"Now go scare away the crows!" Mrs Jacobson screeches.
"But how?" the scarecrow asks.
"I don't care," she replied. "Just do your damn job!"
The scarecrow swallows hard and chokes back his anger and frustration before responding.
"Fine"

Latest attempt (big emphasis on ATTEMPT) at dgital painting. It's different from my regular junk, but I'm making some progress at least.
Is he hanging from a support? It looks like there's a cross at his shoulders but I don't see where it goes into the ground.
I love the scarecrows in EQ2 and how their heads turn to follow you when you walk around them. Poor scarecrow, I think he should have killed the annoying woman but it could be playing mafia that brings that to mind. :winky
It definitely evokes an uncomfortable feeling and I think the short dialog you have with it makes it a lot more meaningful.
The wooden cross on the back was a support for him, but it's not connected to the ground right now since he's out and about.
I'm not sure why you're getting a red X though Mae. A friend of mine said he had problems viewing it on his system as well.
cant wait to see what saraq comes up with once he masters it :)
I'll come up with a tutorial once I get better. It's really only been less than a week since I've started dabbling with the program.
Edit: nope I can't see it with IE either.
