Skin color

You can either take the texture into Photoshop and adjust the color or use the materials room in Poser and change each body part separately by clicking on diffuse color and picking a color.

Well that assumes you're using version 5 or 6 and not 4 Pro Pack like some of us =p

My bad...yeah, that's assuming you use Poser 5 (at least - haven't loaded up 6 yet).

I'm using Poser 5, but I have yet to really understand what a texture is, much less do changes to it. Where is it in poser?

A texture is whatever is covering your model to give it a surface, i.e. skin on Victoria. That character pack you bought includes a high res skin texture. I'll have to post some screenshots for you later if I can...and remember.

Super easy thing I do is you apply the texture then in Poser 4 you go to render > materials and look at the figure one, it will show the name of the image file. Then I do a windows search for the file name, open it in photoshop/ psp and recolor, add tattoos, whatever you desire. (I have too damn much in my textures directory to try it manual... :shock: ) Then just change it manually body part by body part, unless someone wants to explain how to make a matpose file cause I still don't know how /sigh If I did I'd be much closer to releasing my halfling figure I made.
