Sharing the Bathroom - a poem

To go to the bathroom before you moved in
Was always such a treat
The room was quiet, it stayed cool
fresh'ner smelled vanilla sweet

But now the office is occupied
And the bathroom is a zoo
Can no longer try to finish the task
But keep getting chased out by you

You leave trash and messes on the floor
And left the toilet unflushed, stinkin'
When I visit I can't help but wonder,
what the hell are you thinkin'?

I want my bathroom back, to be just my own
Clean mirror, floor, empty trash and sinks
Because sharing the bathroom with your office
Really, really, really stinks.

HA HA!

That one is awesome! It really makes me look back at the days when I had roommates, and NOT MISS THEM AT ALL! *snickers*

I like this one, especially cause it's something that pretty much anyone that's had a crappy roommate, or had to share a bathroom for some reason, can really get a kick out of. It relates to a lot of people, if that makes sense? Plus, the bathroom is a really private place for a lot of people...we do our "dirty work" in there, as well as making ourselves up for the day before other people can see us. Having someone else invade that space, and then mess it up without thought to another person's feelings, is really intrusive and sometimes rude...

Hehe, anyway, I liked it.

Actually wrote this with my work office's second bathroom in mind...
Originally when I started, there was one set of two bathrooms...

Then the office expanded... and we gained access to a second set, which almost no one uses, outside of me and two or three other people...

But it was always quiet, cool, and smelled pretty good.

Now that the other office at the end of the second bathrooms' hall has reopened, there's 8-12 people in there, mostly guys, and they're just... slobs. And they talk while doing their business. To each other. Loudly. And they don't always flush... (And they can't use the excuse that the toilet doesn't flush, because I fixed the darned thing)

And they splash stuff on the mirrors, and...

grrrr. :x
