My mom's 4'10" on a good day. When she used to walk us into school, she got stopped by teachers a few times after first bell with a shout, "Hey, kid!"

Took my 17 year old nephew for a haircut today. I demanded he get it cut the way I like it, since obviously my opinion is all I care about. He's a good kid, did what I wanted, then the barber says...
'Yeah, you should do what your mother tells you to do.'
WHOA WHOA LADY, I AINT HIS MOMMA. Of course I said, 'Actually no, i'm his aunt. I would've had to have been 14.' Which my nephew pointed out isn't too uncommon anyway.

It could be worse.
I watch four kids other than my own. All of them plus my oldest are all about the same size. And well meaning people ask. "Are there any twins ore triplets?" To which I politely reply "Only two are mine." The thing is they are 3,4,6,6 1/2,7 and 10.

I once saw at the airport, 2 sets of triplets...same family. Beautiful little girls, set of teen agers and a set of like 6 year olds. So cute and looked exactly like their mother.

I went to Maryland last October for a Halloween EQ party.
We went to Wendy's for lunch.
Saw two familys.
Two brothers. Two sisters.
Brother one married sister two.
Brother two married sister one.
All the kids - two boys, two girls - looked exactly the same.
Scary.

I live in Maryland :\. But actually I can't say anything because my sister dated my husband's brother. Well not so much dated as...yeah, anyway.

I can't say I've ever heard that term, though it's not what I would call inaccurate. Still, it's a neat mix of North/South mentalties, at least where I am, about 20 minutes southwest of Baltimore.

I got married 3 months after my 22nd birthday. On that note, seeing as I am 31 now, I could have a legitimate 9 year old child today...instead of a legitimate 11 week old fetus.
