OMFG, my hubby just found this on Saturday and we spent a good part of the weekend playing with it. I found my house, my old house, my work... did some sightseeing... Yeah, it's a lot of fun. :)

There should be like houses in all those blank spots, but our house is new as is all of the neighboring houses :) You can see right across the street from us is a farm that has ponies. The guy who owns the farm used to own all of that surrounding land but sold it and made a shitload of cash.
WORK! Welcome to downtown Chicago! The second image, with the red dot is ME. The 28th floor of the NBC Tower. You can even see Navy Pier from my building (as is indicated in the image)! We're right next to the river and close to the lake...and in prime shopping territory. I love the city!

Actually on closer inspection, my house IS there...it was one of 4 model homes. The other houses haven't been built yet. I wonder how long ago these aerials were taken.
