Going with the majority on this...Both are nice, but I like the 2nd one the best. :D

I definitely prefer the background and border for number 2...but I think the font might be too swirly for the sharp lines of the lightening. I think I prefer the font used (or is that just the capital letters same font?) for number 1. I'd even suggest looking for something similar but more jagged. I'd also increase the size of it a tad.

I really dig the lightening especially around his weapon! Hook a sista up with some learnin! ;)

What Gilae said. Like the border and less cluttered background of two, but prefer the text style of one. And the effects on the weapon does rock big time.

that hair was a fast job >< all i did was make a white blob and grab a natural brush, smear it out in a windy manner, then color dodged it with natural brush to give it strandy appearance. then set a fuzzy brush ( 0% hardness ) to do the highlights, then sharpened it to appear more strandy.
