At least 4 of their admin staff has stepped down and literally thousands of DA members are up in arms. They even changed their DA ID's to Jark's trademark yellow alien or shades of yellow. There's a petition...it's wild but god it's interesting to read! =D

That's what I keep hearing. Someone suggested Sheezyart or whatever and omg that's just as bad as DA with the hanging loading and not being able to connect. I couldnt even register =/ Ah well.

I pissed off the guy who took over Jark's place, I think. Instead of doing damage control and actually having the CEO explain why they fired a co-founder over money, they're putting out emotes.
So I said, 'How about an explanation instead of emotes?'
He responds, 'This is not about that. You're undermining your cause by attacking this,' or some shit.
I reply, 'Yes because emoticons will help fix the turmoil that the site is in. It shouldn't be the topic.'

In support of this link by Justthorne people like Kyena (tascha of NS) are hiding their art.

It can be argued that they have that in their copyright so THEY can thumbnail your art, etc. It's just too general in terms of DA's use of YOUR artwork.

I'm not too concerned overall.
1. More often than not, I actually don't really care if people donwload my work. If I don't really use it for anything, it's not a big concern to me. I go after the commission ones though mainly as a service to my customers.
2. Anything I upload there is low res compressed jpg version. I mean, yeah they COULD do whatever they want with that, but the higher quality versions always rest with me.
