Ellis Duban (CC 4-5) So proud...

Well, a friend of mine told me that I had to start posting my work here...if I wanted to keep my kneecaps anyway. Since I'm fairly closely attached to them (it's so hard getting out of the whole walking habbit) I decided to do as I was told. Copied the post from NS you say? You betcha, I lazy on a very fundemental level.

Now, I have given up keeping track of the people at the Sanguine board, so if Ellis happens to be here...well then here's your sig!

So...perhaps I got way more productive than I had originally intended...and sorta made a wallpaper.
It's availeble in practicly any size you would like....

So, now that you've seen the goods, you may be wondering about several things. First of all you may be wondering why I keep doing image manips. Well, I can't help it, end of story...ohh, and I want to do stuff like this. Then you may be wondering why I wrote "So proud" in the subject...well...you can't really see it, 'cos as always my stuff is slightly darker than the backside of the moon, but...her clothes...all of her clothes...are HANDDRAWN!!!
For all you people regularly posting in the freehand department, that may not be a big thing, but these was made with photoshop, and practically without dodge and burn, and to me it's a very big thing indeed. You want a closer look? ok, how about this:

I know, I know...it's not the second comming or anything, but still.....

About the rest of the stuff...well...it has taken way more time than I planned on spending on it, but such is life. ANY comments are welcome. If you wish to tell me that I stink, and shouldn't have moved on past cc 0.2, then go ahead. If you wish to give me any sorts of tips and stuff, then go ahead. If it's even remotely on topic, go ahead.

*grins* Think you might be able to find the mind behind Ellis here .

Personally, I dig the photomanip enough that I'd like to be able to see it a bit better in the sig. I think the glow/transparancy is actually taking away from that rather than adding to it. Also, I'd consider a different direction with the text effects; it's a little hard to read even as big as it is with the gradients behind the letters.

I agree with Veri there, especially on not being able to read the bottom line very well. Dark is cool and I like the goth feel of it. I'd like to see her better also, closer up. You did an awesome job on the clothes. I saw it and thought it was just the stock photo.. and (because pictures are always looked at before words) I kept thinking why does he have the large stock photo here when there's nothing done. So it obviously looks real to me.

I bet you can't guess who I play on SA.

I really can't see much at all on the sig (save making out Ellis' name) which may be due to my sux monitor at work, but it's still extremely dark. Fabulous job on the clothes!

Updated the sig (hopefully) according to Verileah's wishes. Made the big her stand out more, made the text easier to read, and made the whole thing slightly brighter. Part of the problem with my way of doing things is that ontop of peoples varying monitor callibrations, photoshop has it's own curious variant. At least it's only a light/dark differences now. It was more of a problem when everything came out very very yellow.....

Ohh, and since Mai mentioned something looking like stock, this would be it. Reference photos (yes, only reference, I didn't draw on top of it or anything!! ) are http://www.raffaello-network.com/raffties/detail.php?itemid=44717&rangeid=331 and http://www.raffaello-network.com/raffties/detail.php?itemid=50919&rangeid=331.

/claps!!! Thank you so much, Aron...er Dark I was only teasing about making me a sig so I'm very much flattered and thankful!

Other than what's been mentioned, I'd reiterate about the clothes. Holy cow very well done on the shading. It's pretty damn good and I'd be proud too! Thank you so much!!! =D
