if i can can get a new vidcard (if i need too) then i'll pick it up in september and i'd be excited to play on LDL! i do like to roleplay and enjoy when others do as well. But it may not be till christmas when i can get a new vidcard!

so like if in a month i have the game are people still playing or wanting to play?

I will make a char on LDL! mebbe we can make a little group with a meetin time or whatnot!

We spent a while up at Fry's yesterday evening looking at all the MMORPGs and couldn't find one that interested both of us, that inspired the same sense of excitement EQ1 used to. And yes, we read WoW and really tried to get interested in it. Didn't happen. So we will stick with EQ2 for a while longer.. with someone to play with it could be a LOT more fun IMO.

Yeah, once your pop your MMO cherry its never the same, sad but true, hehe... I'm FP based on Lucan but if I have people to play with I could consider rolling a Qeynosian (frankly I prefer Qeynos over Freeport anyway). I don plan to change games anytime soon, honestly EQ2 is the best out there IMO. I tried WoW, it was nice, it was fun, but after my 10 day free trial I didn't feel it was something worth paying for. I intend to stick with EQ2 for a long time :)
