I think the background on this one looks good. It's like she's lounging on the hill side =)
There are freebie hair sets in the 3d section if you didnt want to paint in your own hair. I know it's easier on me. Some of the freebie hair are really spectacular as well. Go look in the tac inst freebie links. Same thing with freebie skins. Her's looks twisted on her neck, probably from you moving it but not resetting it after trying it a couple times.
Her painted hair right now is a good base start, but your part looks thin. Thicken that up a little more and then burn the roots. The left side (her right) looks good with the highlights, but the right side could use some small pixel sized burning. Take the natural brush, 14pt and on a light burn, start at the roots and work your way down, following the path of the hair. I like the style though.
The armor, shield and weapon look pretty cool. Good effort on this as well :thumbsup

Another guildie present. CC 4 please :) Linked for size.
I'm just not figuring out what makes good backgrounds for posed sigs/Magelo's. Obviously EQ screenshots are 2d and the posed people are 3d, so that doesn't always work. But I'm just beginning in DAZ and so I can't really create my own background scenes yet. Pff. *blows hair out of her face in frustration*

A skin texture is called a MAT and it's part of a figure package. Be sure to check out the freebie section for them. =)

Interesting pose idea you have going there and I think you're getting better with the poses and such. I don't know about DAZ but in poser you can move things via the dials or by clicking and dragging it around in the scene.. sometimes the problem with dragging it about in the scene is that they stay a little warped. The dials give a finer degree of control.
You can smooth her neck out in post work though and that will help. Her head looks a bit small for her body..or perhaps her neck is long. I think the hair is a bit too low on her forehead and that's enhancing the idea of it being too small. I'd remove some of the hair around the inside of her face and add more to the outside.
Perhaps post work in a shadow under her on the sword and the shield to help connect her more to her background.

They pretty much summed it up, but give that girl some eyelashes and darker eyebrows! ;) Really though, you seem like you're getting a bit more comfortable with the posing. Check out the free ksin textures like suggested - they enhance your figures by leaps and bounds.
