I liked it also. The opening excorcism scene actually made me turn to my bf and say "That kicked ass!" Which is not something that I ordinarily do. I think the last movie that "wow"ed me like that was LOTR:ROTK with the elephant stampede.
I need to watch it again because I'm sure I missed some stuff. I bought it through my DVD club - that's what I usually do, watch it through Netflix if I'm not sure I'll like it, and if I like it a lot, I buy it.

It actually did not suck. I had read somewhere that this was 2 hrs of keanue reeves looking blankly at the camera. It had a plot and wow, a really good one!
Basically, he can see demons and forces them back to hell. There are 'half-breeds' walking around that keep the balance of good and evil. Obviously evil wants to reign the earthly plane of humans. An LA cop loses her twin who tells her to find Constantine.
I think the best part of this movie is that there are no akward kissing scenes and a lot of mayhem and murder. Lead singer of Bush is in this and looking very hot as a demon I am happy to report.
Good stuff, really good ending. :thumbsup

Was an overall good movie. I still hate Reeves. Also they could have picked someone who looked a bit more like John Constantine for the role.

I though Reeves pulled off John's attitude pretty well, even though he looks younger and healthier than the comic Constantine.
I don't know why people bitch about Keanu all the time...he's "dry" and "blank"? Some people are just that way...but he sure brings in the movie goer's, doesn't he? *shakes head* All those people complain, but go anyway. Hehe...
