Obviously no Oscar winner here, but looks like it could be some good mindless action with swell special effects. I like how they made some of it First Person....like the game. C'mon it's Doom. :)

I'm surprised it's taken so long to come out...I saw an interview I think on Letterman with the Rock must be close to a year ago now where he was talking about being on the movie and his special weapon.

Doom was hawt when it was out...Think there will be a Quake movie or an EQ movie? Both games / series have been out for years. I know we all roll eyes at the thought of a Quake / EQ movie...but if they can make one on mortal kombat, damnit Quake / EQ is not that strange of a though...........is it?

If they do an EQ movie, they should base it only on one section of the game...like the PoP expansion.

The Rock is too good looking to be the Doom Marine. The Marine should be an ugly fucker. They should have cast Mickey Rourke (Marv from Sin City). Also, the Marine shouldn't have a name or be given any speaking parts, but I know they screwed that up :(

Just saw it tonight. It's not bad, but i wouldnt pay money to see it again. Probably pvp with my father but it was pretty neato. Nice twist ending.

Well the thing being it was exactly our first choice for a movie to go see. By the time we got done with dinner it was 7:50, and it was the only movie that we hadn't seen yet. We could have gone in 5 minutes late to Saw 2 or The Fog, but uh no. I didn't watch the original Saw and I didn't want to watch I movie that had at home (pretty much).
