I will start making available the divx of the seasons online for those who cannot afford the dvds online or don't know anyone with them. I hate doing this because the DVDs are worth buying on recommendation alone and I want this show to make tons of money. But people watching it is more important so everyone sees the movie so they get more movie contracts and another season.

I've heard really good things about it from everyone, so I'd be very willing to watch it. I just never catch shows on TV. I just recently started watching the X-files (up to season 6!).

Do they have the DVDs on NetFlix yet?

Edit: Decided not to be a lazy bum and checked for myself - and yes they do. I added it to my queue.

STOP!!!!! There is no point to watch past season 6, annelise =( Season 7 is so so, but that's when they start fucking with the cast. /cry

I recently started watching x-files as well, because I never watched it when it was actually out. I am on episode 8 of season 1.

I always thought they would be scary, and since I hate scary movies, I never watched them till my boyfriend convinced me they weren't. I'm already getting frusterated with this season because of that dip shit Spender and that whore he works with. He pisses me off something fierce. I really enjoyed the first 5 seasons though and I'm always rooting for Mulder and Scully to finally get it on. I <3 his eyes, and I agree with the statement about her getting better looking as the season goes on.

Oh! And Langly from the Lone Gunman (glasses, long blonde hair) will be at DragonCon =D

Are you going to DragonCon, Annalise? Was just watching Firefly on the scifi channel and saw the ad for it, funny that I come downstairs to a thread about Firefly -and- DragonCon.

I haven't been to a DragonCon in years but they are sometimes fun.

Yep, we're going Saturday to watch the parade and hang out. Went last year too, was so much fun =) I plan on taking a ton of pictures so I'll share them when I get back. I love all the costumes =)

To answer the previous question, yes the Firefly discs are available through Netflix, that's how I saw it. But with all of the mounting buzz over Serenity in September, better get them now before there's a long wait.

We bought it on the weekend and are more than halfway through.
It's pretty good. Same sort of story lines as Buffy and Angel but replace demons with aliens and Sunnydale with space.
