Rikr Mangina Pt 1.

I make a new toon that that happens to be a female toon.
I'm out in newbie land killing boars and black cats.
I get tells.

Dude: I like pizza.
Me: k
Dude: Do you like pizza? I just had a veggie pizza.
Me: k
Me: Yes I like pizza too.
(another weird dude runs up to me and /dance with me)
Dude: So who's that guy you're dancing with? (I'm not dancing btw) I thought we had something special here...I mean we talked about pizza.
Me: We do have something special.
Me: Can I let you in on a little secret?
Dude: yes
Me: As long as you don't tell anyone?
Dude: yes
Me: I'm a chic.....
Me: with a wick.
Dude:....(long pause)
Dude: Sorry I just got this game, and I'm learning how to play with a buddy just killing time, thought I'd chat with random people.

The End.

Why do people act this way? Discuss.

*doesn't have this problem on RP Servers*

At least not that I have experienced. I did get that occaisionally on EQ, but a nice. "I'm Married." /ignore always worked well.

Now I have had advances made, but nothing shady like that. More like:

Random Male (RM): Greetings!
Me: Failte! (means hello sort of.)
RM: Could I buy you an ale?
Me: No thank you.
RM: Oh have you a mate?
Me: Aye.
RM: Well, stay safe, m'lady.
Me: You as well.

Well it's usually a litte longer winded than all that and it usually takes several no's before they get to the mate question, but I've never been mauled or e-raped, so I figure I'm getting off light.

You know, when I made my first EQ character, he was a male rogue...I never got groups, never got any help, and had a hell of a time with the game.

THEN I made my druid. Half-elf female. I had guys running up to me and just giving me gold and loot. I had this one stalker for about a month until I told him I was a guy in real life.

Recently, no problems...but not as much free stuff, either. LOL

People are weird...and some people (being most) are really desperate. *shakes head* Who knows?

I'm playing a female NE druid and so far only one person has tried to hit on me, and it was some crazy foreign guy from kuwait.

Kuwait? Wow I thought we blew up all of their computers 14 years ago.

That's what I was thinking. I have never met someone from kuwait before.

A couple years ago, a RL friend of ours started playing EQ with us. His first character was a male barbarian. He often complained of not being able to get groups. When he came up to stay with us for a couple weeks for a vacation of playing EQ, my husband told him of the "most powerful no-drop item in the game." This item being boobs. So our friend made a female high elf cleric. Within 5 minutes of spawning in game, he had a full set of fine steel armor, crafted jewelry, and 50 pp to buy spells. All from a total stranger (a male high elf paladin) LOL The paladin then buffed our friend up and took him/her out to Gfay to help level up. When our friend told the paladin that he was really a guy IRL, the paladin went LD and was never seen again hehehehe Now the funniest part about this is that our friend is actually 6'8" 275 lbs... and his character's name is Bigbadmomma!

Now being a fiercely independent woman, I really hate how males treat female characters in game. To the point that there are probably a multitude of males who still scream when they see the name Sunbur come across their screen ;) I've become well known for my biting sense of humor and my title of "The Bitch" hehe
