Pets!

I used to have an American Toad named Toadwart.
We fed him crickets and lightning bugs.
Watching a toad's stomach light up because he ate a lightning bug is TOO COOL.

My new kitten with no name that we just picked up tonight. (FYI - the pic was taken at the girl's house who gave us the kitten. My house is NOT that messy! :P )

I gotta take a pic of my sons new kitty...well its getting big already..its name is Corn and he named my nephews kitten Pringles...gotta love the names kids pick.

My kitty, Asriel... he likes to sit in the shower with me and wash his face in the water. He's 4 years old now, and very much attached to his human mom.



Asriel's mommy, Llyan... she's a resocialized feral cat. She's really a sweetie. :)



My horse, Summerdance... another rescue. And me, of course, with the big pony-hug FTW. :P


And my dog Sid... he's a shepherd/husky/wolf hybrid. Adopted from the SPCA 7 years ago. He's 8 now. World's fastest frisbee dog. :) That's a really silly picture of him, but I don't have any others scanned for some reason.




All my pets are rescues, and for the most part I handled all of the necessary training/resocializing by myself. Summerdance is trained to do SCA re-enactments with me; he's a great jousting horse, as well as good for tricks and stuff. He is retired though, and is going to hit age 28 this coming summer. I'll be getting another horse within a year or so, and the next one will most likely be a registered mustang. Will definitely be my heftiest horse-training project ever. :)

The neighbors were I used to live had a mustang, Hardy little horse. I always liked him. He pal'd around with my ex's light grey that looked white Arabian, Kasey. (cause horses are never actually white, unless its dead.. yada yada)
