I am intrigued and may pick it up when it goes retail assuming I don't get into beta and totally hate it.

I have been following Vanguard since it was announced, and my anticipation has only grown with time. I think it is the last, best chance to bring MMO's back to life for me. Everything about the game looks fantastic and completely immersive.

oh awesome I'll have to look thu the site later. I have read thu some stuff .. well mainly whats ells for me (graphics, models, cool stuff like the boats/housing , lvling ) lol however the more I read about that stuff I start reading more on the other stuff and keep getting more and more intrigued" as Ryala said :) I would loveee to get in the beta. /envy

Are there any screenshots of the different races so you can see them all male and female o_O hehe I want to see them all! *cry*

When does Vanguard come out? Have they told us yet?

Keep in mind that the vid is from, like...May I think, so more recent screenshots might show things off a little better. That gives you a quick and dirty though.

2.4 When will Vanguard: Saga of Heroes be released?

While we have internal target dates for all of our milestones, including launching the game, it's far too early to announce or publicly commit to a release date at this time.

Brad McQuaid and Jeff Butler formed Sigil in January 2002. The Vanguard deal was put together with Microsoft in April 2002 and we started hiring the team. By July/August 2002 or so we'd begun serious coding, although the design work began in earnest in April 2002. We're also on record publicly that it takes a solid 3+ years to build one of these games right.

I'm hoping it is out by christmas 2006.

geeze NDA's suck.. or people who stick to them do. Maybe one of my old guildies will get in. We had a few in some like Matrix and EQ2 and they posted screens and opinions on the guild boards, was pretty cool.

Eh, I suspect I'm being touchy,I should hope that is forgivable when sticking up for one's man ;).

I beta'ed once. Someone in our group broke NDA, and since they couldn't figure out who it was, they were going to boot our whole group. While NDA's suck...I sure would hate to get booted for someone else snitching. :)

Eh, NDA's. I think there quite a few more important things out there.

Plus you want people to get excited about the game and at this stage of my life I'm alot more hesitant to want to fork out money for a game from a company like this. /whistle AO, Star Wars, etc.
