mostly all i see is the hair needs some more contrast to make it more "strandy" ( look at your sig )
and the skin on her face needs more lights/darks. you've got a good start and a little tweaking on the skin and hair and you'd have a great sig =)
1 more thing, i'd move her chin in a bit, since her face looks concave at the moment
half elf manip
Was going to make my bf a new sig, only I can't get this to look right when I put it on a background. so I'm just going to get a better pose and re-do it hehe...figured I'd just post the manip for C/C since I'm not too satisfied with it.

She needs a little bit of shadow on her face from her hair to show that it overlaps it and isn't just painted on.
Her chin needs a little bit taken off of it to make it less pointy like Vex mentioned.
I'd add some shadows on her armor in places to make the texture more 3d, like the gemstones down the middle for instance.
The hair looks really soft though, I like how that's looking. :)

Her eyes a little bit too 'painted on' looking. There isn't alot of depth.
What I would do differently to the eyes:
Lighten the dark line around them on the inner part of the eye, by her nose bridge.
Make the dark outline on the bottom a lil smaller.
Take the burn tool on a very small % strength and darken the whites of her eyes on the outside of them. Oy, thats hard to explain. Since eyes are round, they will be shadowed a little bit where the 'ball' goes back. Damn...I suck at explaining this. Here is what I mean:

Where the red paint is, is where the shadow should be.
Also, here is what I mean with lessening the dark outline on her eyes:

I hope you don't mind me fudging with it, but, when it comes to explaing things, I lack the words to do it. =)
The only other thing that sticks out to me, are her lips. The top seems fuller than the bottom, I would either make the top lip smaller or make the bottom one bigger.
As always, your armor work is lovely.

Nothing to add really, just that the armor is very impressive!

Thanks for the C/C...I haven't desided if I'm going to use this pose or get another, it looks really funny to me when I shrink it down to sig size.
Thanks so much for the eye tips...this was my first time re-painting the eyes completely, I actually followed a tut I found on NS. Lips are still a huge problem for me, if only I could find a tut on them I might be able to make them better hehe. As far as the face shadows goes...I am really bad at that. I'll try looking over others manips so I can get an idea of placement and such hehe.
I am really proud of the armor. After I finished smoothing out the armor and what not, I duplicated the armor layer and set it to multiply. I really like the way it turned out.

Completely re-did the pose. I made the text and background similar color to the one I made myself purposely hehe. I'm asking for C/C for future reference, PS went all wonky on me and I ended up saving the merged version over my layers version, that's twice in a row now grr.
For c/c I want to know: Hair, too strandy or not strandy enough? Face shadows, am I getting there? I tried a lot of new things with the shadows, wondering if it paid off, or am I the only one who sees them hehe. Ahh hell, c/c everything...I've been looking at this char for far too long hehe.

You did great on the dodging and burning to give it texture, but it looks flat for some reason. I'm not sure how to fix that either, maybe feather it some at the edges to give it depth? One way to give shadows on her forehead is to do a drop shadow on the bangs section (or whatever layer they're on) and direct the shadow down onto her forehead. Her right should pad looks odd. It's so dark compared to the rest of her. The highlighting looks good but again the armor gives a sense of being flat. Needs more shadows to give it depth.
The black and white background doesn't lend anything to the sig. Is the sig finished? I guess that's what's bugging me, it doesn't look finished. Could use some text effects as well. Again over all, the hair strands look great, just gott work on giving it more depth. :thumbsup
